Police Sergeant Rick Flori disclosed materials including video material tending to show alleged abuse and/or alleged assault of persons in custody at a police station in Queensland.

These disclosures and the reaction against the disclosures by the police authorities are particularly important to the situation of whistleblowers and whistleblowing in Queensland, as they provide a measure of how far, and in which direction, the Government of Queensland and its various Crime Commissions have moved since the Fitzgerald Inquiry and since the allegedly criminal mistreatment received by the police whistleblowers whose disclosures brought success to that Inquiry.
