CITATION: Rob Messenger

Rob Messenger first came to prominence as a member of the Legislative Assembly for the support that he gave to Toni Hoffman, our 2005 Awardee.

Mr Messenger has, since that time, also supported the dissemination to the public of disclosures by other whistleblowers, including Darren Hall.

His award is merited by the sustained and effective effort he has given to the communication of disclosures by Queensland’s whistleblowers.

He has pursued inquiry into the poor performance of watchdogs bodies, including the CMC.
