Be Ready!

A reality to be faced is that a just result for the suspected wrongdoing disclosed, and for those affected by the wrongdoing, and for the whistleblower who suffers alleged reprisals in Queensland and in Australia, may not be achievable at all, certainly not in the short term.

It’s normally a long road to justice.

A Plan B may therefore be necessary, and that may be just an interim-to-medium-term plan to survive.

It is important to measure the effect which your search for justice can have on you and those closest to you. There is no one way to justice and to maintaining a grip on life. Too often, blowing the whistle comes with a very heavy price, and, insofar as it is possible, mitigating that heavy toll so that it remains manageable ought to always be a high priority.

There are some excellent publications from the USA and from Australia that are Survival Manuals for Whistleblowers. One has been written by Dr Brian Martin from University of Wollongong, and it is available AT NO CHARGE off his website, “Brian Martin’s Website for Suppression of Dissent”, at www.bmartin.cc/dissent/.
